What we collect, why, and how to reach us about it.
01 Who we are
Opsmith runs this site, opsmith.pro. For anything about your data, write to hello@opsmith.pro.
02 What we collect
When you write to us: your name, your e-mail address and whatever you send. We use it to answer you and to do the work you ask for.
When you book a call: your name, your e-mail address and the time you pick. Booking runs on Google Calendar; Google sends you the invitation and creates the Google Meet link.
When you visit the site: Cloudflare hosts it and processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver and protect the site, and gives us aggregate visit numbers. The site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or profiling scripts.
03 Why we use it
We use this data to answer enquiries and take steps toward a contract at your request, to perform our contracts, and for our legitimate interest in running and securing the site.
We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising or make automated decisions about you.
04 Who else handles it
Cloudflare (hosting), Google (calendar and video calls) and our e-mail hosting provider handle data for us. Some of them may process it outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards they publish.
05 Google Calendar data
We use a small internal tool, Opsmith Calendar, that connects to the Google Calendar API. It reads and manages events on Opsmith's own calendar only: it creates and updates our meetings and their Google Meet links. It never asks for access to anyone else's Google account.
Its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is not shared, sold or used for advertising.
06 How long we keep it
Correspondence and booking details stay with us for as long as the conversation or the work lasts, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep business records.
07 Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, have its use restricted, or object to its use. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Write to hello@opsmith.pro and we answer within one month.
